Wiens receives NSF grant

Douglas A. Wiens, Ph.D., professor of earth and planetary sciences in Arts & Sciences, has received a three-year, $249,999 grant from the National Science Foundation for research titled "Polenet East: An International Seismological Network for East Antarctica." Also receiving the grant was Andrew A. Nyblade, Ph.D., of Pennsylvania State University. This grant is supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
