Know:

• location of all sub-Saharan countries and Egypt
• the capital(s) of each country
• names of key non-capital cities in the list
• Niger, Zambezi, Congo, Nile Rivers
• Lakes Chad, Victoria
• Sahel, Sahara, Kalahari

You won't have to show city locations on the map but you should know approximate locations of major cities (e.g., know that Lagos is on the coast, Abuja is in the center, and kano is in the north).
