Math 1322 Spring 1999

Course Requirements

Each Tuesday there will be a quiz during recitation. Generally the quizzes will consist of two questions, each graded out of three points. The quiz questions will be very similar to problems assigned the preceding week. The best six quiz scores will be used and the other quiz scores will be discarded. However, to encourage attendance at the recitations, two of the quiz scores used will be drawn from the last four recitations. The total quiz component of the course will be 20%.

Each Thursday there will be a computer lab in the Prince Hall Computer Lab. Labs will be completed in the Cupples I computer lab at your convenience. The labs will be turned in every Thursday before class. The total lab component of the course will be 20%.

There will be three evening exams during the semester and one final. The schedules for these are listed in Course Listings. Each counts for 15% of the total grade.
