INTERNSHIPS
Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Summer Internships
To augment the academic experience of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies majors and minors, a program of internship awards has been created with funds given in support of the Stiritz challenge.
Under this program, students are able to receive internship awards for either full time or part time work during the summer. University rules preclude students from receiving academic credit for an internship that is funded.
These awards are granted on the basis of an open competition among our majors and minors. Students are expected to submit a completed version of the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Internship Award Proposal form.
Prior to submitting the application, students must have secured permission to do the internship with the relevant organization. Students may consult with the coordinator of internships for Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, or visit The Arts and Sciences Career Center before submitting their application.
