The 2007-08 lecture series focused on Global/ Transnational Feminisms and Gender Justice. We define justice broadly to include questions of ethics, historical memory, work, health, and human rights.

Winifred Poster, Assistant Professor of Sociology and Women's Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, will present our second lecture in Global Feminisms. Professor Poster's talk, "Transnational Intimacies of Information and Communication Technology: Gender, Sexuality, Ethnicity and Nation in Indian Call Centers", is at 4pm in Hurst Lounge, Duncker 201.
